(December 16, 2025) – Legends of Sarasota, a senior living community in Sarasota, Fla., is proud to announce that they are newly managed by The Goodman Group, a Minnesota-based company with more than 60 years of experience developing and managing senior living and health care communities, residential communities and commercial properties. The Goodman Group has managed communities in Florida since 1976.

Legends of Sarasota, formerly known as Amira Choice Sarasota, is an 11-acre, five-building community that opened in 2020. It offers 198 residences for independent living, assisted living, and memory care. With elegance at every turn, Legends of Sarasota features beautifully designed common areas, an outdoor heated pool, fitness studio, piano lounges, art studio and gallery, yoga yard, a pet park, therapy gym, multiple dining venues with chef-inspired meals, salon, spa and more. This community will serve a range of lifestyle preferences and continuing care needs.
